Peak Season Rates starting Oct 3rd for UPS and Fedex

During the Holidays, UPS and FEDEX raise handling fees on packages for what they call “Peak Season”
Peak Season starts October 3, 2022 and runs through January 15, 2022.
What does this mean?
Typical handling surcharge for $3.50 for UPS and $3.45 for FEDEX.
During “Peak Season” ,this charge will increase to $6.50 for UPS and $6.45 for FEDEX.
Air shipments also tend to increase, especially as we get closer to the holidays
Transit times are also affected by the Peak Season adding an extra day of shipping on packages going to the east and west coast.
